NDLPT Tool
The NDLPT Tool is a web-based tool available through the Services. It processes information submitted by a user in order to perform its calculations and return results.
Images submitted to the NDLPT Tool
When you use the NDLPT Tool, you may upload an image for processing. The original uploaded image is processed for the requested analysis and is not retained by the NDLPT application or written to its persistent storage . However, the NDLPT Tool stores a small 68-pixel thumbnail of the submitted canvas together with the calculation record.
Information stored in connection with an NDLPT request The NDLPT Tool's Google Sheet may store:
- The date and time of the request;
- A 68-pixel thumbnail of the submitted canvas;
- The number of colors specified;
- Canvas dimensions in inches;
- Mesh size; and
- Identified colors, including RGB values and percentages.
The hosted NDLPT Tool does not require a user's name, email address, or Google account information in order to use the tool. The calculation information is stored in a Google Sheet used to operate and manage the NDLPT Tool.
Processing and technical logs
The NDLPT Tool uses a separate processing service to perform certain calculations. There is a persistent anonymous identifier to measure use and protect service reliability. The service may maintain technical access logs that can include IP addresses. We do not state a specific retention period for those logs because we have not confirmed the retention period used by the processing service.
